The Legal Intern position is designed to provide aspiring legal professionals with hands-on experience in a dynamic legal environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
Collaborate on Legal Team projects and initiatives, such as contract management systems, training programs, and template development.
Draft, review, revise, and negotiate agreements related to the acquisition, development, and commercialization of the Company's products.
Conduct legal and other research projects.
Draft, review, and revise investor disclosure statements.
Support corporate governance initiatives, including managing corporate subsidiaries.
Assist in litigation projects.
Provide legal support for business operations and interact cross-functionally with departments such as Research and Development, Regulatory, Sales and Marketing, Medical, Patient Engagement, Intellectual Property, Compliance, Finance, IT, and Human Resources.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Strong interest in corporate law and legal processes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
* Minimum level of education and years of relevant work experience.
J.D. (Juris Doctor)
*Special Knowledge or skills and/or licenses or certificates preferred.
- Knowledge of data protection regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
*Travel requirements
- May require up to 5% of domestic travel.
• Hybrid position with the expectation of working in the office at least two to three days per week.
