JOB DESCRIPTION
Contract Execution Coordinator

I.    BASIC FUNCTION
The Contract Execution Coordinator is a team player responsible for collaborating with internal and external sources to provide accurate information to Accounting to ensure that we bill for and collect revenue earned and that we pay expenses timely and accurately to maximize the long-term organizational success. 

II.    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES
1.     Work closely Marketing, Accounting, Dispatch and Customer Inspection Services to provide accurate and timely information needed to invoice revenue and pay expenses timely and accurately.    
a.    Revenue Management
i.    Maintain Database of Inspection Services based on customer, location and products
ii.    Use TowWorks Inventory Review to determine which barges have been loaded and ready for the addition of loading figures
iii.    Obtain loading inventory figures on all barge orders by reaching out to Customer Inspectors for loading documents
iv.    Record loading inventory figures in TW and attach inspection certificates to each barge load event
v.    Review Inventory Review Panel to determine which Inventory Review Workflows can be closed
vi.    Use TowWorks Revenue Review panel to determine which Hopper barge orders can be approved for freight billing
vii.    Verify Hopper Freight orders are assigned to correct contracts and rates are accurate for invoicing
viii.    Review Revenue Panel to determine which Hopper Barge Revenue Workflows can be closed
ix.    Use TowWorks Boat Logs to determine what delays can be invoiced for Pascagoula 
x.    Complete Pascagoula Delay worksheet and submit to AR for invoicing to customer
xi.    Assist in New Contract Set up in TowWorks & Salesforce
b.    Expense Management
i.    Maintain Internal Towing and Harbor Services Rates
ii.    Update Fuel Surcharges at least monthly on most Vendors and as required on other Vendors
iii.    Add High Water Surcharges on Vendor Rates
iv.    Process any invoices assigned in Onbase queue timely
2.    Utilize TowWorks and OnBase systems to serve as a quality check to ensure that barge event information is accurate for proper and timely expense management.
3.    Other
a.    Work effectively with others as needed to accomplish job functions
b.    Perform other duties as required and directed by management
c.    Carry out the Business Philosophy, Code of Conduct and Mission of Canal Barge Company, Inc.

III.    ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
The Contract Execution Coordinator reports to the Manager of Contract Execution

IV.    EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
1.    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)  
2.    Excellent communication skills
3.    Experience with TowWorks and OnBase is desired.
4.    Experience in marine transportation industry is desired.

VI.    MEASURES OF SUCCESS
1.   Reduce billing errors on Hopper Freight due to incorrect rates by 20%
2.   Tank barge loading figures are obtained within 7 days of barge load release

VII.    OUTCOMES
Work closely with Transportation Service, Customer Service, Liquid and Dry Cargo Marketing, Accounting and the other members of the Contract Execution team to maximize profitability of our core liquid and dry cargo systems by helping to ensure flawless execution of service
