Contract Designer - Product Launch Support

Remote | 6-Week Contract (Mid September - Early November)

We're looking for an experienced contract designer to provide critical design support during a pivotal product launch period. Our team is rolling out Moments, our AI Coaching Agent, to an enterprise customer, and we need design expertise while our primary designer is on paternity leave. This is a high-impact, fast-paced contract opportunity for someone who thrives in startup environments and can hit the ground running.

Contract Duration: Late September through early November (~6 weeks) with potential to convert to part-time or full-time role.

Launch Support

• Create compelling marketing materials for Moments rollout including landing pages, presentations, and promotional assets
• Address UI bugs and implement fast-follow improvements to ensure seamless user experience
• Support go-to-market design needs and collaborate on launch strategy execution

Product Design

• Design new features and improvements for our AI coaching platform
• Collaborate closely with product team, CEO, and leadership on design reviews and strategic decisions
• Support build and launch execution with design specifications and assets

Iteration & Testing

• Provide rapid prototyping and testing support to validate design concepts quickly
• Execute on meeting follow-ups and design iterations with quick turnaround times
• Incorporate user feedback into design improvements and refinements

Experience & Skills

• Strong understanding of AI/LLM technologies and how they relate to product design - you get excited about designing for AI-powered experiences
• Experience and interest in pushing the boundaries of using LLMs/LLM enabled tools as a part of the design process or to design
• Proven track record working directly with CEO and leadership teams in fast-paced environments
• Demonstrated experience with fast-paced product launches, ideally at early-stage startups
• Portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work from concept to launch

Working Style

• Can hit the ground running with minimal onboarding - we need someone who can be productive from day one
• Thrives in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments where priorities can shift quickly
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats and jumping between marketing design and product design as needed
• Strong communication skills and ability to present and defend design decisions
• Ideal candidates will be fluid in moving between different parts of the product design process, from UXR to prototypes to writing user stories

Technical Requirements

• Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma preferred)
• Experience designing for web applications and responsive interfaces
• Understanding of design systems and ability to work within existing brand guidelines
• Bonus: Experience with coaching, learning & development, or professional development tools
