As a Contract & Commercial Administrator, you'll play a key role supporting the commercial success of major telecommunications programs, working alongside experienced commercial professionals in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career commercial professional who enjoys working with contracts, analysing information, solving problems, and ensuring projects are delivered with strong commercial governance.

About the Role

Reporting to the Contract Manager, you'll provide critical support across contract administration, commercial reporting, claims management and contract compliance activities. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders, clients and subcontractors to help ensure our commercial obligations are met and risks are effectively managed. 

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Prepare and issue contractual notices and correspondence
  • Support the administration of contract variations, extensions of time (EOTs) and other contractual matters
  • Assist with the preparation, tracking and submission of commercial claims
  • Maintain key contract registers, including claims, variations, risks and correspondence
  • Support commercial reporting, governance packs and performance reporting
  • Assist with subcontractor administration and contract compliance activities
  • Prepare documentation for governance reviews, audits and contract health checks
  • Support pricing updates and schedule of rates (SoR) reviews
  • Ensure strong document control and compliance across multiple programs

About You

We're looking for someone who is curious, organised and eager to develop their commercial career.

You'll bring:

  • 1–2 years' experience in contract administration, commercial administration or a similar role
  • An understanding of contract management principles and claims processes
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Analytical thinking and commercial awareness
  • The ability to build positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience within telecommunications, infrastructure or project-based environments will be highly regarded
  • A degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, Law or a related discipline (desirable)
