About the role

As a (Contract) Brand Management Coordinator, you are passionate about building relationships with our creators / licensors and have experience making processes streamlined. You will manage the anime approval submission process for the Marketing organization, participate in the planning process for SVOD and theatrical promotions, and support the Brand Managers in building meaningful relationships with Japanese, Chinese and Korean creators and licensors.  

You will lead the approval process for our titles, ensuring the impact and delivery of the company goals in both mature and developing markets. We expect that our creators and licensors will support our marketing initiatives and tactics through your communication and guidance throughout the approval process.

In the role of (Contract) Brand Management Coordinator, you will report to the Director, Brand Management.

About You

  • 2+ years of operational experience working with assets and approvals in the licensing or entertainment field
  • Experience with project management 
  • Experience communicating with partners from different cultural backgrounds, particularly Japanese business culture
  • Experience working with globally distributed partners (external and internal) around process improvement.
  • Experience creating reports and dashboards
  • Strong interest in anime and Japanese pop culture is a huge plus
  • Japanese fluency is preferred.
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, or marketing 

About the Team

The Brand Management team helps our streaming and omnichannel platforms experience vibrant growth while captivating global audiences and attracting licensors and their representatives by setting the industry standard. We build partnerships and communication with our creators/licensors in Japan and global teams in marketing, communications, content, business development, and product.

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
