Key Responsibilities
- Contract Lifecycle Management
- Conduct contract abstraction and maintain the clause library by reviewing, tracking, and updating clauses based on executed agreements.
- Reconcile contracts within the contract lifecycle management (CLM) system.
- Track contract milestones, deliverables, expiration dates, and renewal opportunities.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date contract files and legal documentation.
- Legal Document Review & Support
- Review customer codes of conduct and assess alignment with company policies.
- Review and process non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) in accordance with company standards.
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Conduct risk analysis of potential customers and vendors within the restricted party screening tool.
- Respond to onboarding requests from customers, coordinating with internal stakeholders.
- Respond to internal sales team regarding contract-related inquiries.
- Identify and escalate potential risks or non-compliance issues in contracts.
- Support contract audits and assist in preparing reports for internal stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Procurement, Sales, Finance) to gather information and ensure contract alignment with business needs.
- Administrative & Project Support
- Support the development and refinement of internal contract management processes and tools.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling, document formatting, and filing.
- Assist with various legal projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Training & Knowledge Sharing
- Help develop internal guidelines and training materials on contract policies and procedures.
- Assist in onboarding new team members or stakeholders to contract systems and processes.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- 2-4 years in a contracts, legal, or compliance-related role.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative while producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with a willingness to share knowledge and accept input and direction from others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Skilled in multi-tasking and prioritizing activities while working effectively with a broad range of people.
- Flexibility and willingness to engage in a variety of legal matters.
- Demonstrated discretion and sound judgment in handling sensitive materials and maintaining confidentiality.
- Familiarity with CLM systems and legal document
