Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Contract Administrator to join the team delivering an inspirational sports and entertainment legacy across Queensland.
AECOM has been appointed by the Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority (GIICA) as the Delivery Partner for the $7.1bn Games Venues Infrastructure Program.
This achievement is celebrated with our joint venture partner Laing O’Rourke, a strategic team formed to support the delivery of 17 new and upgrades sport, recreation, and entertainment venues across Queensland for 2032 and beyond.

This role will involve managing contract administration processes for key projects, ensuring compliance, and facilitating smooth operations throughout the project lifecycle. - Administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to completion.
- Review and negotiate contract terms, ensuring compliance with AECOM policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to support project delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of contract documents, amendments, and correspondence.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor contract performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
- Provide guidance on contract-related matters to project teams.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration or a related role within the construction or engineering industry.
- Familiarity with contract law and procurement processes is essential.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
