The opportunity:
We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to support our line marking operations in Whangārei. This role is crucial in keeping our team on track; coordinating day-to-day admin, handling job documentation, entering project data, and helping ensure everything runs smoothly on and off-site.
Hours of work:
- Currently 30 hours per week Mon-Fri
- Flexible to be full time 40 hours if preferred
In addition to the above you will:
Supporting the Branch Manager and Operations team with administrative tasks.
Performing accurate data entry of job details, site records, and project documentation.
Preparing job packs, work orders, and daily schedules.
Tracking job progress, materials used, and assisting with invoicing and costing.
Managing site documentation, including Health & Safety records and job photos.
Coordinating with councils, clients, and field crews to ensure timely updates and clear communication.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Ideally 2+ years of admin experience, preferably in civil, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; especially Excel and Outlook.
Experience in AWM (formally known as RAMM)
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and stay on top of multiple priorities.
Demonstrate good teamwork and a willingness to learn new skills.
Knowledge of line marking or road maintenance.
Have a positive attitude to health, safety and quality.
Advantageous if you have:
Experience working with council contracts or compliance documentation.
Familiarity with traffic management paperwork.
Traffic management qualifications and experience.
