Title: Contract Administrator
Client:  Federal Agency
Location:  Tuscan, AZ (Onsite)
Clearance:  Secret
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; the applicant must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.
Number of Position(s): 1
Work Schedule: 8 am – 5 pm
Work Day:  Monday – Friday

We are seeking a Contract Administrator to support federal procurement processes and ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and agency regulations. The ideal candidate will assist in acquisition strategy development, solicitation preparation, contract modifications, and closeouts while safeguarding sensitive information by FAR 3.104.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in competitive/noncompetitive procurement documentation for Contracting Officer (CO) review.
  • Prepare solicitations, amendments, task orders, and modifications for CO approval.
  • Support source selection, including proposal evaluations, award fee plans, and compliance with FAR Part 15.
  • Draft synopsis announcements, briefings, agency reports, and legal correspondence (e.g., FOIA, IG/GAO responses).
  • Maintain and update contract writing systems (e.g., CON-IT, PIEE) and specialized databases.
  • Track pre-and post-award milestones, including contract closeouts.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support for cost/price evaluations, protests, and inquiries.
  • Assist in acquisition strategy development, market research, and procurement documentation.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of federal contracting experience (preferably with the Department of the Air Force).
  • 2+ years of base-level support in commercial supplies/services and minor construction (preferred).
  • DAWIA Contracting Professional, FAC-C Professional, or equivalent certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree (any field).
  • Proficiency in federal procurement systems (e.g., PIEE, WAWF, EDA) and Microsoft Office.
