In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

The work model for the role is: Remote in the U.S. with 30-50% Travel Required. #LI-Remote

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Defines key sales targets and establishes appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor the performance of both the sales team and our channel partners; Anticipates and identifies the shortfalls in performance and takes appropriate remedial actions, proactively.

  • Identifies and evaluates new opportunities with existing and potential customers, determines plans for implementation, and allocates required resources; Plans, manages and executes a go-to-market strategy of channel partners, OEMs and direct sales people.

  • Reviews organizational effectiveness and performs competence assessments and continuous skill upgrades, along with participating in the negotiation of key contracts.

  • Identifies, monitors, and maintains/exceeds the sales market price levels, after evaluating the pricing impact on the results with the Product Management team; Supports Sales team to ensure the achievement of sales volume and product mix targets.

  • Develops, implements, and reviews sales processes and tools (such as SalesForce), and the related training and development activities.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required with 8+ years of experience in related field

  • Ability to develop an effective Continuous Water Analyzer sales strategy within the United States for both municipal and industrial market segments and maintains it, to improve ABB's market penetration and realize growth aspirations.

  • Ability and willingness to travel 30-50% of the time (up to 100 nights per year). Overnight travel includes travel to regions, factories, channel partner locations, customer locations, trade shows, sales meetings and industry conferences

  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US permanently.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $116,200 and $185,920 annually and is bonus eligible.
