Main Functions:
-Develop and manage the TOS implementation.
-Follow-up on implementation of improvements with process owners and provide point for ongoing maintenance of processes as assigned related to specific area. Provide updates to management on action plans and results.
-Lead SU’s and OU’s efforts to create a Lean strategy and lead the execution of this strategy by coordinating, training, following, auditing and documenting the necessary activities at the shop floor both, in person and by the TOS team.
-Train additional trainers and teach TOS workshops to team members in the use of Continuous Improvement & TOS Tools.
-Identify priorities for training throughout area of responsibility and communicate to the department and/or process owners. Work to ensure progress is made on priorities.
-Assist team members in performing root cause analysis of identified issues. Help identify opportunities for action and define action plans with groups responsible. Encourage follow
-Work closely with TOS Implementation Office and TBE/Continuous Improvement team to learn and use best practices from other departments. Develop audit plan and manage audit compliance of implementation against the TOS tools; ensure progress is tracked against plans and consistent with corporate direction Support all TOS initiatives throughout the area assigned, travel as required.
-Ensure, establish, implement, maintain and inform to TOP Management the necessary process to QMS.
-Authorized Representative and Authority regarding QMS to TOP management throughout all the Organization.
-To do the necessary actions within the Manufacturing area to contribute to the obtainment and maintenance of quality, environmental, fiscal, information technology or any other certification.
-As well as the obligation to maintain confidentiality of any company or business information that could jeopardize the certification or the well-being of the company. Always in strict alignment with current local and international legislations, Sarbanes- Oxley Agreement (SOA), Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), as well as any policy or procedures established by Daimler.
