Job Title: Continuous Improvement Supervisor – Lindon Fulfillment Center

Summary:
The Continuous Improvement (CI) Supervisor guides the CI program in the Lindon Fulfillment Center (LFC). This position works closely with LFC management to develop and conduct the CI program, including development of training material, methodology adherence, project identification, project realization, associate development through training classes, one on one guidance sessions, and program results sharing. The CI Supervisor will also spend considerable time helping other departments by working alongside personnel and taking direction from area Supervisors in normal daily activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Continue to build and maintain a CI program that enables a culture of improvement through daily individual contribution
- Create and maintain the business plan for an effective Continuous Improvement program in the LFC
- Design and maintain training material to be used in the CI program for both practitioners and Supervisors
- Establish criteria to be used in selecting qualified practitioner candidates
- Identify and prioritize CI projects through established criteria
- Lead the CI training program while managing the training matrix
- Perform, assist and guide others in Kaizen Events and direct CI Projects
- Prepare and present CI updates to LFC Supervisorship
- Track and report annual costs/savings resulting from the CI program
- Ensure each area of the LFC is engaged in the CI program
- Assist other departments at LFC in their daily responsibilities
- Fill in for Team Leads as needed
- Help setup and run any equipment in all processes
- Collect and help maintain data that benefits the area’s success
- Receive direction from area Supervisors on tasks needing assistance
- Be an ambassador of the dōTERRA culture at all times
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of professional level experience
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience with warehouse management systems
- Demonstrated Supervisorship in process improvement programs
- Lead Kaizen Events
- Can quickly identify tools and methods to assist projects movement forward
- Able to train all tools in the DMAIC and PDCA models
- Mentor ability to interested practitioners
- Can challenge ideas and current processes with thoughtful discussion
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess strong organization and change management skills
- Ability to perform basic functions of all existing positions within Lindon Fulfillment Center
- Industry experience across kitting, fulfillment, logistics and/or warehousing
- Basic understanding of statistics and data application related to CI
- Computer literacy with MS Office Suite
