The Opportunity:
Join Hitachi Energy as a Continuous Improvement Specialist and be part of a leading provider of high-voltage components in Mount Pleasant, PA. How You'll Make an Impact:
Develop strategies and initiatives for process improvements across the value stream.
Implement and manage Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Develop a pipeline of future improvement projects.
Mentor and coach CI project leaders through the certification process.
Ensure KPIs and performance metrics are captured and reported accurately.
Leverage best practices to drive value and consistency.
Act as a change agent, challenging the status quo.
Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operational Excellence, or relevant experience.
Five or more years of experience in applying Lean tools.
Lean Black Belt certification preferred.
Experience in facilitating Kaizen events.
Proven ability to lead improvement initiatives using Lean and/or Six Sigma.
Strong skills in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Effective communication skills and ability to build relationships across the organization.
