Hyster-Yale Materials Handling (HYMH), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Continuous Improvement Quality Engineering Intern at our facility location in Berea, Kentucky. HYG designs, engineers, manufactures, sells and services a comprehensive line of lift trucks and aftermarket parts marketed globally under the Hyster and Yale brand names. We are one of the global leaders in the Material Handling industry and have been building relationships and partnering with our customers, suppliers, dealers and employees for over 80 years.
HYG is looking for an energetic individual who will have a positive influence in the Manufacturing and Quality Engineering department. This position will be responsible for creating and updating CAD drawings of facilities and experience with Excel/MiniTab. In addition, the position will provide analysis and develop documentation of processes, as well as participate in improvement activities.
Hours: Flexible depending on school schedule. Full or part-time options are available.
Other requirements:
- Must possess strong computer skills and be able to input data accurately.
- Capable of working proficiently in CAD.
- AutoCAD and Creo experience desired.
- Able to work with data that is highly detailed in nature.
- Must be able to wear required PPE (i.e. safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety toe shoes).
- Able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be dependable in terms of attendance and punctuality.
- Able to take direction as needed.
Our intern program is open both for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a course of study in the field of engineering.
