Hexcel is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Plant Focal for our Casablanca, Morocco location.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across various departments and business functions.
- Analyze production and business processes to identify gaps, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
- Support compliance with quality standards (ISO9001, audits, control plans).
- Collaborate with leadership teams and operations to identify areas for process optimization, operational efficiency and costs savings.
- Develop and implement Lean/Kaizen events (VSM, SMED, TPM, 5S) to streamline processes, identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
- Develop site CI short / mid-term vision with the management and deploy the vision
- Use data-driven methodologies (such as Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen) to analyze and improve processes.
- Manage costs savings projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet desired targets.
- Educate and coach leadership team members and front lines leaders on continuous improvement principles, tools, and methodologies.
- Develop internal training materials – OPL, Instructions, Posters, Visuals...
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree on Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, or equivalent.
- 2–5+ years in continuous improvement, industrial engineering, or production.
- Experience in manufacturing, production methods, and quality control
- Strong knowledge of Lean tools (VSM, 5S, SMED, Kaizen…).
- Six Sigma Green Belt is a strong plus (or willingness to obtain it).
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Good communication and facilitation skills.
