What you will be doing:

The senior content strategist will help other writers in developing content, exploring the most effective mediums, and ensuring content quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to give clear direction on tight turnaround times
• Provide coaching to writers
• Collaborate with team and peers to develop high quality product
• Conceptualize and review expert-facing content for our internal database (guides, articles, how-tos, etc.)
• Oversee the content intake for projects and workflow
• Regularly communicate progress on projects to peers and leadership
• Edit and write user-friendly, value-driven content that simplifies complex topics
• Ensure Asurion brand, voice, and message consistency across platforms
• Brainstorm new content ideas and strategize with leadership
• Monitor and report the team's performance
• Work with designers to create the look and feel for content items
• Comfortable communicating directly with stakeholders and owning/building relationships
• Ability to work with minimal direction, make independent decisions, set priorities, and preserve confidentiality in dealing with sensitive material

Here's what you'll bring to the team:

• Bachelor's in Journalism, English, or any applicable writing discipline is preferred
• 3-5 years of experience writing or editing content is preferred
• Experience writing technology-related content (guides, articles, etc.)
• Strong familiarity with English grammar conventions and Chicago Style
• Strong business acumen and ability to lead in planning and coordination of people and resources
• Flexible and adaptive
• Creative and out-of-the-box thinker
• Quick learner with a solid grasp of technical concepts
• Team player, works well with people and open to feedback
• Maintains a positive attitude while working with stakeholders, coworkers, and reports through deadline-driven and heavy production situations
• Experience with WordPress and HTML is an advantage
• Can work during US business hours
