Post-Production Traffic Coordinator
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is seeking a talented, passionate, and proactive Post-Production Traffic Coordinator to join our in-house production studio located in Dallas, TX. You’ll be responsible for supporting both photo retouching and video projects through Post-Production to delivery. You will also be responsible for collaborating with Post-Production Subject Matter Experts and Post-Producers to ensure that projects meet strict quality standards and are delivered on time. You will manage the intake and delivery of assets both to internal studio partners and external vendors, and must have the experience and enthusiasm necessary to jump in to a team that is responsible for supporting all business units, digital channels, and photography and video needs for Chewy.
What You’ll Do:
- Work with Post-Production Subject Matter Experts on technical and logistical needs across Retouching and Video projects
- Work directly with Post-Producers, Production Managers, and Creative Art Directors to fully understand creative direction on projects and work to ensure that the creative is being faithfully executed
- Execute creative changes on projects when asked, and pivot in response to direction
- Manage day-to-day project communications with internal post team members and actively track project status and progress
- Vet all design, photo, and video assets for assigned projects and ensure that files received are compliant with project delivery specs
- Assist Post-Producers with resourcing and assignments, collecting project data, tracking budgets, and developing project calendars
- Assist Post-Producers with external vendor communications, and coordinate the handoff of assets between vendors and internal Post-Production team members with minimal oversight
- Facilitate the delivery and QC of photo and video assets to various delivery platforms including broadcast deliverables to Extreme Reach
- Ensure usage rights are procured for music, audio, and stock imagery and properly filed in compliance with Chewy Legal standards
- Utilize an advanced understanding of all stages of Post-Production (including but not limited to: Editorial, Audio, Color, Graphics, and Photo Retouching) to support all assigned projects
- Contribute to process documentation within Post-Production as it relates to project coordination and resourcing
- Earn trust through active and nuanced communication with not only peers throughout the Studio, but also leaders within the Post-Production department
What You’ll Need:
- 2+ Years of Photography or Video Production Project Coordination experience in a studio setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Deep passion for everything Post-Production
- Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, ProTools, and the the entire Adobe Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects
- Thrive in an ever-developing, fast-paced environment - happy to be flexible and pivot on a dime!

- Active listener with a strong ability to think critically
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Available to work on weekends and evenings when needed
Bonus (if applicable):
- Experience with Workfront and/or other production management tools is a plus
- Direct Photo Retouching and/or Video editing experience is a plus
