Your New Role...
The (Sr.) Manager will oversee the day-to-day editorial planning across WBD's primary internal communication platform, Workplace, as well as other internal comms channels. The ideal candidate will be a strong writer and editor, and will work with communication leads to generate story ideas, write and/or edit stories for our channels and consult and guide on communication best practices for content creators. This role reports to the VP, Digital Platforms.

Your New Role...
The (Sr.) Manager will oversee the day-to-day editorial planning across WBD's primary internal communication platform, Workplace, as well as other internal comms channels. The ideal candidate will be a strong writer and editor, and will work with communication leads to generate story ideas, write and/or edit stories for our channels and consult and guide on communication best practices for content creators. This role reports to the VP, Digital Platforms.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Manage the editorial calendar for our main communications channels - primarily Workplace (a Meta product) and digital eBoards.
- Coordinate and lead weekly/daily meetings about editorial coverage.
- Find, create, edit and post content that engages our global workforce, helps build culture and connections to establish a collective brand identity, and aligns with our company priorities.
- Engage with groups and posts as needed and serve as a "community manager" ensuring content being posted aligns with editorial governance standards and the company's social media guidelines.
- Identify and support content creators and internal "influencers" who can help elevate the Workplace platform and drive more employee engagement and participation.
- Host in-person and/or virtual training to Workplace Groups users and creators.
- Share insights and analysis on top-performing content and areas of improvement/opportunity (as needed).
- Support the Editorial and Engagement team by assisting with other employee engagement and events, as needed.
Qualifications & Experience...
- Bachelor's degree in digital communications, journalism, marketing or a related field of study.
- 5-7 years in roles managing digital content, social media and/or other communication roles.
- Strategic and creative mindset who's on top of culture and ongoing trends
- Ability to add value in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial start-up environment
- Willingness to collaborate, accept feedback, and learn and innovate as you go
- Well versed in digital data reporting platforms and data analysis
- Skill in effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to resolve problems or situations requiring the exercise of good judgment
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with other team members
- Working knowledge of digital and social platforms
- An understanding of the social landscape that drives and engages audiences
- Attention to detail
- Experience with Workplace a plus
