GET TO KNOW US
Gympass is a corporate wellness platform that connects you to thousands of fitness & wellness partners, all with one simple monthly membership. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in NYC, we have a growing global team in 11 offices around the world. At Gympass, you not only have the opportunity to build a career in a fast-paced global environment - but you'll make wellbeing universal, so everyone can be happy and healthy.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Gympass Content Marketing team is seeking an Editorial Writing Manager to help us increase the reach and impact of our content for both B2B and B2C audiences. We need a world-class storyteller who gets excited about writing articles, case studies, thought leadership pieces, and other long-form content that supports our mission of work-life wellness. The ideal candidate has extensive experience crafting compelling narratives that rank well in organic search. But it's not all about writing. We need someone to review content from outside agencies and coach them as needed to ensure all content aligns with our brand voice and perspective.
The Editorial Writing Manager will directly support our Content Marketing team, but will also work closely with our Branding, Product Marketing, Revenue Marketing, and CX teams.
YOUR IMPACT

  • The Copywriting Manager is primarily responsible for writing and editing compelling copy for our content marketing initiatives, including blog content, co-marketing reports, infographics, white papers, and more.
  • Drive the execution of our global SEO strategy, with particular emphasis on creating world-class content that drives high-converting organic traffic to our website.
  • Leverage keyword research (both short-tail and long-tail), competitive analyses, and persona insights to craft pillar and spoke content, and identify opportunities for internal linking.
  • Become a subject matter expert on the various topics we cover in the wellness space and ensure all editorial content created internally and externally (by agencies) is accurate and consistent with our brand perspective.
  • Create our brand voice guidelines for editorial content and ensure guidelines are adopted and followed throughout Gympass.
  • Craft other forms of long-form content in addition to SEO articles, including lead magnets, ebooks, case studies, white papers, and unique research.
  • Work with executive leadership to create thought leadership content for distribution on our owned platforms and through 3rd party publications.
  • Analyze content performance and regularly circulate insights with key stakeholders to refine our strategy.
  • Support the creation of an editorial board of experts and influences that we can leverage to provide expert opinions and third-party reviews of our content.
  • Demonstrate creativity and excitement to experiment with new content formats.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 5+ years of experience in executing global content strategies, preferably at a digital product company serving B2B and B2C customers.
  • Outstanding writing and copy editing skills with strong attention to detail, particularly as it relates to voice and tone.
  • Proven track record in crafting SEO-optimized editorial content that ranks well in SERP.
  • Knowledge of SEO tactics and best practices, including proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs.
  • Experience crafting thought leadership content for executive leadership is a plus.
  • Experience working in high-growth, highly dynamic environments with a healthy level of autonomy.
  • A strong collaborator and communicator that has experience working with cross-functional teams consisting of SEO managers, product marketers, engineers, channel marketers, data analysts, and CRO specialists.
  • Experience developing content for a variety of channels, either in-house or as an agency partner, with samples.
