  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
  • Uncompromising attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.
  • Excellent ability to analyze and synthesize information and ideas from multiple sources into a comprehensive, yet concise, final product.
  • Ability to distill complex technical concepts into concise, engaging copy that the average reader can understand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update, and maintain high-quality help documents, user manuals, and support materials for our SaaS products.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly language that caters to our diverse user base.
  • Work closely with product managers and development teams to gather information and ensure accuracy in documentation.
  • Identify areas where documentation can improve user experience and contribute to the development of self-service support resources.
  • Collect and analyze user feedback to continuously improve and refine documentation.
  • Compile needed information about products and updates into accurate, digestible, and easy to understand documentation for release notes, help site, etc.
  • Ensure factual accuracy of content by attending product team meetings.
  • The ability to collect video, graphic and images to depict products and product usage.
  • Conceptualize, write and edit compelling copy translate technical product configuration into content understandable by less technical users.
  • Apply writing strategies for the digital world, integrating SEO best practices into all web content.
  • Proactively identify content/copy gaps and inconsistencies in documentation and help site copy.
  • Update help site content as needed.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a technical writer, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector.
  • Degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, or other related fields.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates creativity, expertise, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and other collaboration, content management, and asset management systems.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish for written and spoken words.
