JOB TITLE: Content Writer Lifestyle Asia
DEPARTMENT: Digital Content – LSA
REPORTS TO: Creative Content Director for LSA & PO
Lifestyle Asia is looking for a Content Writer with experience covering, food, travel, and luxury lifestyle in Thailand. Reporting to the Managing Editor, the candidate will write and publish articles on a daily basis and work towards digital KPIs to produce high quality content for our readers. Become part of our Bangkok-based team of content curators and work in a fun, dynamic, and fast-moving environment. Please note that this position is open to Thai nationals only.
Responsibilities:
* Write daily, SEO-friendly online articles that are relevant to our audience, and reach established targets/KPIs
* Customise content for our social media platforms
* Represent the brand at events including media tastings, press previews, exclusive interviews, etc.
* Work with the marketing team to analyse content performance metrics, such as total attention time, click-through rate, and social following growth, and apply those insights to improve existing content/future content
* Contribute creative ideas for content creation, including video scripts, article concepts, and overall content direction
* Propose innovative content approaches that resonate with our target audience
* Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate fresh content ideas across multiple platforms
Requirements:
* Excellent writing and communication skills in English
* Ability to read and understand Thai
* University degree holder, preferably in journalism, writing, communications, or related field
* Keen interest in the world of lifestyle, particularly in fields of food & beverage, as well as beauty and wellness; knowledge of the regional travel and wellness landscape is a plus, as well as background in the watches and jewellery sector
* Ability to write engaging, well-researched stories quickly and accurately without sacrificing quality
* Detail-oriented, resourceful, and social media-savvy (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, etc.)
* Experience using CMS such as Wordpress is a plus
* Working ability of image editing software is a plus
* Practical knowledge of video production
