As a Content Strategy Intern at Cepheid, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the self-serve experience on our platforms, cepheid.com and my.cepheid.com. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around developing and implementing content strategies that align with our key initiatives to improve user engagement, save time, and increase user confidence. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects directly affecting our customers’ experience.

This position is part of the Marketing Operations and CX team and will be in Sunnyvale, California, with remote work options. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage and audit support content across various platforms, ensuring it remains current and relevant.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of communication plans, both internal and external, to increase awareness and adoption of digital platforms. Create engaging and relevant content for multiple digital channels, including blog posts, social media updates, and website copy.
  • Enhance SEO optimization efforts to boost visibility and drive traffic to digital platforms. Utilize tools like Google Analytics to track and analyze content performance, enabling data-driven decisions.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Currently pursuing a undergrad or Masters degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like Adobe Experience Manager, Pimcore, Drupal, or Widen.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and social media platforms.
  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Content creation and management.
  • Using analytics tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.

The hourly rate for this role is $28.  This is the rate that we in good faith believe is the rate of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
