What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a versatile Content Strategist to drive our full-funnel storytelling efforts.  The ideal candidate is a mid-career writer who is comfortable producing a high volume of short- and medium-form copy across demand generation, social channels, and the web. This is an individual contributor execution role responsible for full-funnel content production, with a primary focus on virtual events and webinars, account-based-marketing (ABM) supporting content, and sales enablement materials. This candidate has demonstrated experience upholding brand tone, voice, and style, while always identifying and adopting new best practices in the world of content marketing. This person is proficient across written and spoken content, thinking strategically, and operating from ideation to execution.

What You'll Do:

  • Plan and produce a broad range of written content for product launches, promotions, email drip programs, events, and other marketing initiatives — including blog articles, digital ads, landing pages, fact sheets, sales enablement materials, and vertical-specific ABM-supporting content.
  • Own the creation and ongoing maintenance of content in Highspot, ensuring all materials are current, organized, and aligned to sales enablement needs.
  • Serve as the content driver and project manager for webinars and virtual events, including topic identification, content creation, speaker recruitment, and cross-functional campaign coordination.
  • Develop and maintain a content plan informed by customer journey insights and strategy, ensuring content is aligned to customer needs at each stage of the funnel.
  • Measure content effectiveness against defined goals; leverage data and market insights to inform optimization and new concept development.
  • Uphold Bandwidth's voice, tone, and style across all written materials — including copy-editing and proofreading for cross-functional teams on an ad hoc basis.
  • Champion the customer and build internal relationships — advocate for how customers find and act on content, and connect with contributors across the organization (product leaders, executives, people services) to generate new ideas.
  • Manage project timelines from request through delivery, ensuring on-time execution.
  • Support social media content needs for LinkedIn and other B2B channels as capacity allows.
  • Contribute to broader brand and content initiatives as assigned.

What You Need:

  • Education:
    • Four-year degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications or related field
  • Experience:
    • 3–5 years in a fast-paced B2B copywriting, communications, or marketing role, with demonstrated experience writing for demand generation, digital channels, and/or events.
  • Knowledge:
    • Experience writing for LinkedIn or other B2B social media is a plus.
    • Familiarity with Highspot or similar sales enablement platforms is a plus.
    • Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics, Marketo, or similar systems is a plus.
    • Experience with Monday, Asana, Trello, or a similar project management system is a plus.
    • Agency background and experience working in software, tech, or telecom is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Command of the English language, including grammar, syntax, diction, and the ability to write to a brand voice.
    • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to give rationale for creative choices and strategy and communicate project statuses, challenges, and solutions.
    • Highly organized self-starter with a bias for action and the ability to independently manage a webinar/virtual event content calendar and project timelines.
    • Experience with content performance tracking and using data to optimize content programs.
    • A demonstrated track record of business impact through content.
    • Understanding of content disciplines including SEO, content strategy, and full-funnel execution.
    • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to work across many internal partners.
    • Comfort using generative AI tools as part of a content workflow.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience:
    • 3+ years writing for B2B tech or software.
    • Experience owning or managing a webinar or virtual events program.
    • Experience with ABM content strategy and execution.
  • Knowledge:
    • Familiar with Chicago style guide
    • Experience with Hubspot or similar sales enablement platforms.

What We Do

Bandwidth is a software company that’s transforming the way people communicate and challenging the standards of old telecom. Together with our customers, we’re unlocking remarkable value, questioning the status quo, and helping people interact with technology and one another, oftentimes in ways they never dreamed possible. Haven’t heard of Bandwidth? You’ve probably used one of our products before. We power some of the most important communications technologies on the market today—names like Google, Skype and Ring Central to name a few. At Bandwidth, we’ve got a passion for doing things the other way—imagining what they could be and uncovering opportunities to take a new approach to create what should be. We’re out to disrupt the century-old rules of the telecom industry—and that means doing things differently in every area of our business. It’s in the way we treat our people, and how we create with our customers. Whether our engineering teams are crunching code during all-night hack-a-thons or our team members are competing in a Big Idea competition, we love to dive in and get our hands dirty. No idea at Bandwidth is too big or too small, and every voice gets a listen. Our folks have diverse backgrounds from all over the world. Crave innovation? We live for it. No one here is getting a blue ribbon for shaking their head and agreeing with the higher ups. At Bandwidth, we don’t hold back. We speak our minds, share our ideas—and let them soar. We think, we dream, we reimagine what’s possible…because we know that’s the only way we can unlock remarkable value. And that’s what really gets us fired up.
