Job Description:

PDQ is looking for a Content Strategist to lead the direction and coordination of our content program across the buying journey. This is a manager-level role with direct reports, focused on strategy, planning, and cross-team delivery to ensure content is effective across channels and formats. 


You'll collaborate with Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, and the Creative team, partnering closely with subject matter experts to develop authoritative content optimized for AI-driven search. The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer who can influence stakeholders, run a diverse content program, and build collaborative relationships across the organization. 


What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and lead a unified, multi-channel content strategy aligned with brand, growth marketing, and business goals 
  • Ideate, plan, and measure cross-team content initiatives, including campaigns, serialized assets, webinars, video, and other multimedia 
  • Create and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual content plans and editorial calendars for leadership visibility and team execution 
  • Synthesize inputs from across the company into a cohesive content roadmap, ensuring representation across the buyer journey stages 
  • Partner with SMEs to shape credible thought leadership and technical content 
  • Manage AEO/LLM optimization tool(s) and lead the content program to increase visibility and share of voice in LLM-based search 
  • Oversee optimization of content for SEO, AEO, and LLM-based discovery 
  • Review and copy edit content to ensure consistency with brand voice, positioning, and messaging standards 
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of content professionals 
  • Establish content standards, workflows, and governance 
  • Act as a strategic point of alignment across teams 

 

We're looking for people who have:


Must have 

  • 5+ years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, or editorial roles, preferably in B2B SaaS or technical products 
  • 2+ years of experience managing and developing content teams, with a track record of building high-performing teams 
  • Proven ability to project manage complex, cross-functional content programs, including oversight of external agencies and vendors 
  • Strong strategic thinking paired with practical execution skills and a data-driven approach to content performance 
  • Track record of designing, running, and documenting content experiments with clear communication of results 
  • Experience working with SMEs, complex subject matter, and webinar/video/multimedia content programs 
  • Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and emerging AEO/AI search considerations 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to craft external content and internal strategic documents 
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, build collaborative relationships, and navigate ambiguity 


Nice to have 

  • Background in IT, systems administration, or other technical roles
