Job Summary:

The Content Strategist II is responsible for developing, producing, and maintaining plain language content for member or provider materials and collateral.

Essential Functions:

  • Create content, manage content workflows, and coordinate deliverables that will help improve audience comprehension
  • Develop interesting, plain language content to assist with customer engagement and to improve audience experience
  • Execute communications for the appropriate delivery channel
  • Ensure production of materials is on time and within budget
  • Utilize tools that educate and drive convergence toward better and more consistent copy execution
  • Ensure all regulatory and accreditation requirements are adhered to in materials created and utilized
  • Works with leadership and team to support comprehensive communication plans / effective deliverables
  • Utilizing consultative methods, collaborate and coordinate with key internal stakeholders
  • Supports work in department project queue as needed
  • Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or related field or equivalent work experience is required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience writing consumer-friendly, plain language content is required
  • Experience writing health care-related content is preferred

  • None

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range:

$52,400.00 - $83,900.00
