Content Strategist Coordinator
Role Summary
The Brand Partnership and Innovation Content Strategist Coordinator will serve as a strategic link between commercial teams, clients, creative agencies, Sony’s internal departments, and production teams, ensuring the development of innovative proposals and high-impact executions for brands.
Within the Brand Partnerships & Innovation (BP&I) team, this role will focus on transforming brands’ business challenges and objectives into innovative, relevant, and culturally connected content ideas aligned with Sony Pictures audiences.
The Coordinator will be responsible for managing the development and follow-up of sponsored content campaigns, leading both the creative and operational coordination alongside their Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy and Execution of Branded Content
- Collaborate with the Sales teams to develop branded content proposals and bespoke brand integrations within our original content.
- Actively participate in meetings and presentations with clients and agencies, representing the BP&I team in a strategic and creative capacity.
- Oversee each phase of the project lifecycle, including development, production, and final content delivery.
- Support the creation of sales materials and commercial presentations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with the Digital, Production, Marketing, Programming, and Legal teams to ensure the successful execution of content initiatives.
- Participate in creative sessions and production meetings to ensure campaigns reflect both the client’s brand values and Sony’s standards.
- Digital Monetization
- Support the development of digital and social content strategies to strengthen brand presence across Sony’s digital ecosystems.
- Assist in the execution of digital campaigns and contribute to the evaluation of their impact and performance.
- Client and Sales Relationship Management
- Act as a key point of contact between the commercial and creative teams for the development of sponsored content strategies across Mexico and Latam.
- Support Sales executives during client presentations by providing strategic and creative input.
- Manage client and agency expectations and deliverables, maintaining smooth and consistent communication throughout the entire project.
Requirements
• A bachelor’s degree in production, digital communications, advertising, marketing or another business-related field is required.
• 3 years of experience in sales support, with a preference for experience in creative roles, production, branded content or media. Experience working with brands, agencies, entertainment companies, or media environments is highly preferred.
Knowledge
- Knowledge in audiovisual / production formats in Digital, in project coordination, from conception to delivery.
- Strong understanding of entertainment, pop culture, digital trends, and branded content ecosystems.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Keynote, and Canva.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is highly preferred, especially Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Basic video editing and visual content development skills are a plus.
- English proficient
