In this role you'll contribute to the company's positioning and future growth, defining our place and voice in an exciting, rapidly evolving field.
Your responsibilities
Act as lead storyteller and editor, own copy and content across all channels and keep the ZI brand voice and product messaging consistent across.
Create and edit accurate and creative output across different formats; from newsletters, application notes, and blog posts to video scripts, employer branding content, and digital copy.
Own social media strategy and execution on LinkedIn.
Collaborate effectively across teams, including with designers, website managers, performance marketers, scientists, and senior stakeholders.
Your profile
5-7 years of experience in journalism, science communication, or content roles with editorial ownership, ideally with a journalism background.
A track record of making technical or scientific material engaging to a wide range of audiences; from scientists to knowledgeable lay people.
Comfort operating independently: pitching your own stories, setting your own priorities, defending your editorial calls.
Strong social-native instincts - you know how a story changes shape from long-form to a 30-second clip to a single post.
Enough physics literacy (or hunger to learn fast) to hold your own in a conversation with a quantum scientist and to ask the right questions.
Native or native-level writing skills in English; comfort working in a scientist- and engineer-heavy culture where precision is paramount.
Excellent communication skills with a natural knack for relationship-building.
