About our Team
The Content Protection division of Elsevier works within the Security organization as the primary point of contact for content protection of Elsevier products
About the Role
You will be entrusted with defining normal usage baselines and assists
with detecting anomalies. You will look at a process or business problem and looks for ways in which it can be improved.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with stakeholders to acquire and develop requirements for all projects or onboarding of new products.
- Investigating issues or challenges of unauthorized activities identified by internal and external customers.
- Acknowledging, investigating issues pertaining to customer alerts and helping to resolve those critical incidents.
- Working alongside the Director of Content Protection to prioritize multiple workstreams to plan and execute projects to modernize programs. Additionally provide results/evidence of investigations.
- Utilizing data-driven decision-making and analysis to gain insights and drive solutions for business problems.
- Delivering simple and complex dashboards using Tableau and JIRA reporting environments.
- Acting as a Hands on leader supporting the operational response to
content protection events.
Requirements
- Have a background in project management, data analytics, developing processes and/or runbooks in a large global matrix organization.
- Possess a basic understanding of copyright, DMCA, cybersecurity, fraud, or other enforcement type organizations.
- Have experience with Identity Management systems, SSO, network and web based attack remediation and responses.
