Content Planning Coordinator
About the Role & TeamDisney’s Direct-to-Consumer team oversees the Hulu and Disney+ streaming businesses within Disney Entertainment, bringing The Walt Disney Company’s best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere.
The Disney+ Programming team leads content planning, scheduling, on-service merchandising, slate management, and programming insights to support a cohesive, strategic approach to content across the service.
What You Will DoAs the Content Planning Coordinator, you will support the global Disney+ Content Planning & Scheduling team within Disney+ Programming. You will help maintain and audit planning databases, localization intent, global dates, and day-to-day content changes. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, clear communication, sound judgment, and a collaborative, diplomatic approach. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Content Planning.
Responsibilities- Maintain and help create databases, reports, and documents for leadership and internal stakeholders.
- Communicate with internal partner teams to support day-to-day updates and change management.
- Track and audit international title plans within Disney+ tools and ecosystems.
- Maintain accurate title-planning data throughout each title’s lifecycle.
- Support ad hoc projects and requests as needed.
- At least 1 year of experience in content scheduling, slate planning, content strategy, or a related field.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with data governance and data interpretation.
- Experience building, refining, and iterating high-impact pitch decks and presentations for leadership and key stakeholders.
- Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in roles and processes that are not clearly defined, constantly evolving through self-reliance and resourcefulness
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Knowledge of and passion for The Walt Disney Company’s segments, brands, and franchises, with an understanding of the elements that drive audience engagement.
- Strong emotional intelligence and a collaborative working style.
- Experience in digital media or entertainment, including subscription video on demand (SVOD) or linear television.
- Experience using Airtable.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- This role is based in the office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work from home on Fridays.
