The Cardinal Health Pharma eCommerce team is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Content Operations Specialist to support our team of copywriters and drive operational excellence across marketing, product and technical content initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in copywriting and project coordination who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and enjoys balancing creative quality with process efficiency. 

This role reports to the Senior Manager of eCommerce Content Operations. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide day-to-day operational support to the copywriting team—supporting project intake, facilitating efficient processes and coordinating work across project teams. 

  • Write, edit and review copy across marketing, product and technical content pillars to ensure alignment with brand voice and style guidelines. 

  • Manage content timelines, track milestones and report progress to stakeholders and Sr. Manager of Content Operations as needed. 

  • Ensure all content meets business requirements, regulatory standards and delivers a high-quality customer experience. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including product management, UX design, UX research, clinical and master data, legal, marketing and IT. 

  • Support the maintenance and evolution of copy style guidelines; ensure consistent application across all content. 

  • Assist team with workflow management and documentation in Jira and Adobe Workfront. 

  • Identify and resolve content or design inconsistencies to optimize the user experience. 

  • Support execution of client campaigns in partnership with the digital marketing team. 

  • Proactively identify strategic improvement opportunities and help implement scalable solutions. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field preferred  

  •  4-8 years of experience in copywriting or content operations in collaborative, deadline-driven environment preferred

  • eCommerce experience required 

  • B2B experience preferred  

  • Creative and strategic thinker 

  • Excellent communication and time management skills  

  • Comfortable presenting concepts and creative work in team settings  

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Experience in digital content design, UX writing and/or content strategy a plus 

  • Familiarity with Jira and agile planning a plus 

  • Familiarity with Adobe Workfront a plus 

  • Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry a plus 

Anticipated salary range: $80,900 - $103,950
