✨ Exciting high growth product, relied on by leading global brands, particularly within sports
💻 Working with the latest hardware, tech stack, AI tools, and product workflows

This role follows a rotating shift pattern, including evenings and weekends, depending on live events.

Own shift-based day-to-day content operations for a sports SaaS platform, using AI and internal tools to check, compare, document, and triage work while managing recurring content tasks, QA, client delivery, and first-line support during assigned evening, weekend, or after-hours coverage.

You will suit this role if you can work independently, use AI tools pragmatically, spot defects, verify details, make clear decisions on your own within the workflow, communicate clearly, and escalate with evidence when needed.
ABOUT STORYTELLER

Storyteller is a B2B SaaS platform that helps companies bring Stories-style content into their own apps and websites. Our clients include major sports and media brands, and our content operations team helps make sure their story experiences are accurate, timely, well-structured, and reliable.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

You will help run the content supply chain behind client story experiences. That means making sure the right content is prepared, checked, delivered, maintained, and ready for review or publication. On assigned shifts, you are also first-line support for content and support issues.

  • Own assigned content operations tasks from queue to completion: understand the expected output, run the workflow, check the result, update the right systems, make clear decisions within the workflow, and flag blockers early.
  • Prepare generated story packages and reports using Storyteller tools and runbooks.
  • QA generated content and app surfaces.
  • Maintain content hygiene and recurring task records.
  • Deliver client-ready links, reports, or status updates.
  • Triage content or support issues using AI-assisted tools, including first-line support during assigned shifts, by gathering evidence, identifying likely causes, deciding the next action, and escalating clearly with evidence when needed.
  • Keep records, handovers, and status updates accurate enough for another operator to understand what has happened, what has been checked, and what still needs attention.
  • Use AI and internal tools daily to speed up checking, comparison, documentation, and repeatable workflows, while verifying outputs.

SHIFT, EVENT AND AFTER-HOURS COVERAGE

This is a shift-based role. Some shifts include evenings, weekends, live sports windows, and after-hours first-line support when rostered. You will be expected to monitor issues, make the first assessment, communicate clearly, and escalate with evidence when needed.

During event coverage, you may help prepare scheduled content and operational checks before an event, monitor that time-sensitive outputs behave as expected, and hand over open issues clearly.
WHO THRIVES HERE

  • You can own a queue of work without waiting to be prompted at every step.
  • You use runbooks and checklists well, but you do not freeze when the situation is messy or incomplete.
  • You can make clear decisions on your own within the workflow, and you know when something needs escalation.
  • You write clear updates so another operator can pick up the work without a long explanation.
  • You use AI tools to improve repeatable work, but you verify outputs and improve the underlying workflow when you see repeat issues.
  • You are interested in sport, media, digital content, SaaS, or publishing operations.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience in content operations, publishing operations, content QA, application support, product support, live operations, media operations, or digital production.
  • Familiarity with CMS tools, Airtable, Linear, Zendesk, Slack, spreadsheets, dashboards, browser tools, or AI tools for QA, support triage, documentation, or workflow automation.
  • Experience working with sports, media, apps, generated content, clips, reporting, or client-facing delivery.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

  • Short intro call so we can explain the role, working pattern, and expectations.
  • Practical take-home task. We allow sensible use of AI and care about how you check, validate, document, and communicate.
  • Final interview with the team to discuss your task, judgment calls, and approach to the work.

Skills Required

  • Ability to work independently and manage a queue of operational tasks from start to completion
  • Ability to use AI tools pragmatically while verifying outputs
  • Ability to identify defects, verify details, make workflow decisions, and escalate issues with evidence
  • Clear written communication for updates, handovers, documentation, and client delivery
  • Availability for rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, live sports windows, and after-hours coverage
  • Experience in content operations, publishing operations, content QA, application support, product support, live operations, media operations, or digital production
  • Familiarity with CMS tools, Airtable, Linear, Zendesk, Slack, spreadsheets, dashboards, browser tools, or AI workflow tools
  • Experience with sports, media, apps, generated content, clips, reporting, or client-facing delivery
