The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing compelling content and messaging. This individual develops content for blogs, websites, email campaigns, social media, press releases, advertisements, print materials, and other mediums as necessary, working with subject matter experts as needed. Additionally, this individual assists with developing content distribution strategies to maximize the reach of new content to key target audiences and maintains the content publishing schedule.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with division marketing and HR to generate original, creative writing for blogs, websites, promotional materials, award submissions, social media, PR, and other marketing assets, including proofreading, formatting, editing, printing, and delivery.
- Manage social media platforms for corporations and divisions.
- Interview and interface with key subject matter experts to develop technically accurate and engaging content.
- Apply a consistent brand voice across all channels of communication.
- Update and enhance digital content to adhere to SEO best practices.
- Track deliverables and KPIs”s.
- Leverage AI tools and large language models (LLMs) to enhance ideation and content creation.
- Stay informed on emerging AI-driven marketing technologies and trends to improve efficiency and engagement.
- Develop and maintain content publishing calendar, processes, and strategies.
- Research new content distribution strategies and opportunities.
- Assists in planning, supporting, and/or implementing other marketing tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- 1-3 combined years of experience writing for internal communications, marketing, Public Relations (PR), and/or social media.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated desire to work and collaborate with others on content development.
- A strong problem-solver mindset.
- Experience utilizing MS Office, Google Analytics, and CMS systems. And AI-powered content tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Grammarly, etc.).
- Deadline-oriented and detail-oriented.
- Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Communications, or related field) or equivalent education/experience.
The posted salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
