We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join our fast-growing team and help us build something that has never been built before. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, this is not a typical writing-only role.

Our content program is still experimental, and we need someone who will architect the machine from scratch and then step out from behind the keyboard to join our leadership as the on-camera, in-webinar, industry-facing voice accountants and professional service owners recognize. If you are ready to trade “just blog posts” for hosting live sessions, shaping SEO and AI search strategy, and turning every pillar asset into a dozen follow-on wins, this is your stage.

It’s a hands-on, high-impact position where you’ll own and execute content initiatives that fuel growth, with the freedom to experiment and a team that prizes bold ideas over safe ones.

Location: Austin, TX ( 4 days/week in-office).


Responsibility
  • Content strategy: Ideate and write inspiring blog posts, ebooks, newsletters, and landing pages that answer real customer pains and follow solid SEO logic.
  • Hosted experiences: Plan, promote, and personally host webinars, workshops, and panels that educate accountants and professional service owners while moving the pipeline.
  • SEO & AI-search growth engine: Build our visibility by ranking on Google and showing up inside AI-answer engines (SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity, niche GPTs). Own keyword research, structured data, prompt-surfaced snippets, and ongoing performance tracking.
  • Repurpose powerhouse: Turn every pillar piece into social clips, email snippets, and partner-ready assets that keep the flywheel spinning.
  • Voice champion: Guard a casual yet insightful brand voice so every asset feels unmistakably Anchor.
  • Cross-team collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, product, and CS teams to ensure best-in-class content, surface stories, shape data into a narrative, and feed feedback loops.
  • Measure and iterate: Set clear metrics for each asset, report results, run rapid tests, and refine strategy for compounding growth.
  • This role is not about just checking off tasks. It is about owning content marketing outcomes, moving fast, and making bold bets to drive meaningful impact.

Requirements
  • 5-8 years of generalist marketing experience as a Content Marketer or Product Marketer, preferably in a fast-growing B2B startup targeting the US market.
  • Confident with on-camera presence, hosting educational sessions, and fielding live questions with poise.
  • AI-fluent professional who specializes in guiding and employing generative tools across all content research and creation while protecting voice and accuracy. 
  • A builder who has launched content marketing initiatives from scratch, pivoted based on insights, and executed at a high velocity.
  • A creator at heart with strong writing skills plus comfort with basic video editing, design tools, and social storytelling.
  • A true all-around marketer who has tested multiple strategies and applies a methodical, data-driven approach to growth.
  • A natural problem solver who thrives on ambiguity and can turn challenges into opportunities.
  • A doer who takes ownership, moves quickly, and adapts based on real-world insights.
  • Passionate, ambitious, and hungry to generate exponential value for Anchor, our customers, colleagues, and yourself. Entrepreneurial experience is a plus.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
