THE ROLE:
Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a dynamic and experienced content manager to join our innovative team. The content manager will be integral to creating, enhancing, and maintaining content that aligns with our business goals, raises brand awareness, and ensures engagement across all digital platforms. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong content optimization skills, uphold brand consistency, and deliver positive digital experiences to our target audiences.
YOUR IMPACT:

Strategic Content Development: Execute a strategic content plan that enhances Oshkosh Corporation's online presence. Collaborate with a variety of cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify key stories and create a comprehensive content roadmap.

Content Creation: Write compelling blog posts, web content, and other written work to support the content plan. Collaborate with internal creative teams and agency partners to create engaging video and photo content for our website, social media channels, and other digital properties.

Editorial Management: Maintain an editorial calendar to ensure timely content delivery. Manage incoming stories from stakeholder groups, writers and freelancers, building a robust team of contributors.

Content Promotion: Distribute and promote content across various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, and newsletters. Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement innovative digital marketing strategies.

SEO and Analytics: Optimize content for SEO and analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics using analytics and reporting provided. Analyze data to refine content strategies, optimize results and identify best practices.

Compliance and Brand Consistency: Ensure all content adheres to copyright laws, data protection regulations, and brand guidelines. Liaise with content writers to maintain a consistent brand voice.

Innovation and Trends: Stay current with industry trends and generate fresh ideas to captivate our audience and enhance our digital presence.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERTISE:

Experience: 5-7 years of proven work experience as a content manager or similar role.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital communications technologies and hands-on experience with content management systems. Strong understanding of SEO and digital metrics. Experience with Sitecore and Sprout Social preferred.

Writing Proficiency: Excellent writing skills in English, with a solid grasp of AP Style. Ability to edit, proofread, and improve content created by others.

Social Media Savvy: Strong knowledge of social media platforms and strategies for maximizing engagement.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Education: Degree in Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
