This role is responsible for identifying and driving opportunities to improve Setmore's visibility across search engines, AI search, AI Overviews, answer engines and other digital discovery platforms.

You will analyse how customers discover Setmore, how competitors are winning visibility, and where Setmore has opportunities to improve, expand or create content. Your job is to turn data, search behaviour, competitor intelligence and customer insights into a clear content and organic growth strategy.

You will work closely with content writers, SEO, Product Marketing, Design and Engineering to define what content we should create, what existing content we should improve, and how our content ecosystem should evolve to drive more qualified traffic, signups and revenue.

We're looking for someone who understands that content is a growth channel, not an output. Success isn't measured by how many articles we publish, but by whether Setmore becomes more visible, attracts the right audiences and converts that visibility into business results.

You'll analyse performance across Search Console, GA4 and other tools, identify opportunities, prioritise initiatives and continuously improve Setmore's content ecosystem.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Content Strategy & Opportunity Identification

    • Develop and execute Setmore's content and organic growth strategy across websites, blogs, feature pages, solution pages and industry pages.

    • Analyse search demand, user behaviour, keyword trends and existing content performance to identify content gaps and growth opportunities.

    • Identify opportunities to improve, expand, consolidate, restructure or retire existing content based on performance and business priorities.

    • Build content plans based on search intent, customer needs, business opportunities and competitive gaps.

    • Develop content clusters and topical authority strategies to strengthen Setmore's visibility across priority topics and industries.

    • Identify opportunities across the entire customer journey, from discovery and education through consideration, conversion and product adoption.

  • SEO, AEO & AI Search

    • Lead content-focused initiatives to improve Setmore's visibility in Google Search, AI Overviews, AI search experiences, answer engines and other emerging discovery platforms.

    • Identify opportunities to optimise content for SEO, AEO and GEO, including search intent, entities, topical relevance, structured information and internal linking.

    • Identify gaps in Setmore's presence across relevant search results, featured results, AI-generated answers and other online discovery channels.

    • Work with SEO and Engineering teams on technical and structural improvements that support crawling, indexing, content discovery and AI search visibility.

  • Analytics & Performance

    • Analyse Google Search Console, GA4, keyword research platforms and other analytics tools to understand content and organic performance.

    • Build frameworks for measuring content performance across impressions, rankings, clicks, organic traffic, engagement, conversions, signups and revenue.

    • Identify the reasons behind changes in content and organic performance and recommend actions to improve results.

    • Establish content performance benchmarks and regularly report on progress against business objectives.

    • Connect content performance to the broader acquisition funnel rather than measuring traffic in isolation.

    • Use data to continuously prioritise which content opportunities should be pursued first.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with Content, SEO, Product Marketing, Design, Engineering and Leadership to execute the organic growth roadmap.

    • Partner with Product Marketing to identify content opportunities around new features, products, industries and customer use cases.

    • Work with Design to improve content experiences, information architecture and conversion paths.

    • Collaborate with Engineering on technical and structural changes that can improve search visibility and AI discoverability.

    • Help the broader marketing team understand emerging opportunities in search, AI discovery and content-led acquisition.

Must haves
  • 5 - 8 years of experience in Content Marketing, SEO Content or Growth Marketing within a SaaS or technology company.

  • Strong understanding of SEO, AEO, GEO, search intent, topical authority and content optimisation.

  • Experience managing editorial calendars and collaborating with multiple writers.

  • Working knowledge of Search Console, GA4 and keyword research tools.

  • Experience working with CMS platforms such as Payload, WordPress, Contentful or similar.

  • Comfortable using AI tools to improve content production without compromising quality.

  • Ability to balance strategic planning with day to day content execution.

Workspace requirements

  • Good Internet speed (Above 100 MBPS Download and Upload) with the ability to be wired (LAN).

  • Power backup (if you have frequent power cut issues).
