Conversion is the AI-native marketing automation platform for modern software companies. Our platform lets growth teams run their entire go-to-market motion in one place, from acquisition through retention, with AI agents doing the work that legacy tools like Marketo, HubSpot, and Pardot can't.
We've raised $28M+ from Abstract Ventures, True Ventures, and HOF Capital. The team is based in San Francisco and includes engineers, designers, and operators from Airbnb, Palantir, Pinterest, IMC, Shopify, LinkedIn, and Microsoft.
About the RoleHey 👋 Kyle here. I run product and growth at Conversion, and I'm hiring a Content Marketing Manager to build our content engine from the ground up.
You'll own the content that drives our demand generation motion: blog posts and SEO that capture high-intent traffic, LinkedIn content that builds our presence with marketing ops leaders, webinars that educate the market, and the campaigns that tie it all together. Content at Conversion is a core pipeline channel, not a support function, and you'll be the early GTM hire who defines what it looks like from day one.
You'll work directly with me, and you'll have real material to work with. Our customers are marketing ops teams, which means our audience knows good marketing when they see it. The bar is high and the upside is too: content that lands with this crowd travels fast.
This role is in-person 5 days/week in San Francisco.
ResponsibilitiesWrite and publish content that attracts our ICP: blog posts, LinkedIn content, and thought leadership that marketing ops leaders actually want to read
Build and scale our SEO presence to capture high-intent organic traffic
Launch and manage webinar programs that educate prospects and generate demand
Turn content into pipeline: distribute across paid and organic channels, and run experiments to find what converts
Support field events and executive dinners with the content and collateral that make them land
Help shape growth tools, systems, and playbooks as we scale
Have experience working at an early-stage startup
Love writing: you enjoy posting LinkedIn content and publishing blog posts, and have a voice that cuts through
Are comfortable owning campaigns end-to-end, from ideation through execution
Are excited to experiment across channels and build pipeline from scratch
Have experience with (or interest in) events and dinners for senior executives and stakeholders
Enjoy collaborating with sales, product, and design teams to drive results
You've worked at a high-growth startup and have seen what it looks like to scale a content and growth motion quickly
