We are looking for a sharp, market-savvy Content Creator to join our team of financial storytellers. This role operates like a digital newsroom – fast, factual, and full of insight. Your mission? Translate market moves into content that is relevant, actionable narratives for traders and investors who want to stay ahead.
You’ll produce real-time content that’s in sync with the markets – covering breaking news, earnings, macro events, and more – and frame it through a lens of “what this means for you.” Ideal for someone who lives and breathes financial markets and knows how to make volatility feel like an opportunity.

Your role in the team
Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you will play a vital role in the formation of a community for IG and its coming products for the Singapore market.
We have big expansion goals, and your insights and creativity will shape the way we communicate with traders and investors, supporting both acquisition and retention efforts for IG in Singapore.
We are in the middle of building something exciting – and looking for a person who can make content a differentiator in this crowded market.
What you’ll do
Content Strategy & Delivery
- Develop a business-driven content strategy for IG’s social media channels to build a strong community and following
- Create fast, relevant content tied to market developments, economic releases, earnings, and political events
- Break down financial news into simple, sharp commentary that’s timely and trader-focused
- Add context and insight – connect the dots across sectors, assets, and trading behavior
- Frame stories with impact: Why it matters, who’s affected, what to watch next
- Collaborate closely with design, product, marketing, and research teams to align messaging and delivery
Budgets
- Propose spend for creative and video production, influencer-management and agency fees within your monthly allocated budget.
- Monthly reporting on budget, deliverables and performance.
Performance
- Build a strong community on IG’s existing social media channels.
- Monitor and forecast engagement, providing insights to optimise performance.
Team Leadership
- Lead 1 social media executive, 1 creative designer and external agency relationships.

What you’ll need for this role
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in financial journalism, research, trading, or fast-paced content production
- Deep understanding of capital markets, macroeconomics, equities, and/or FX
- Ability to work in a real-time content cycle – speed matters, but so does clarity and depth
- Bonus if you have journalism or newsroom experience
- An interest in global financial news and services – preferably an investor or trader yourself
- Expertise in developing and managing omnichannel content strategies (videos, webinars, social media, emails, etc) and content performance analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
