Content Marketing, Internship

Overview 

We are seeking a highly motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our team. This role is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a leading global cryptocurrency company and contribute directly to our brand and content strategy.

*This internship is available for 6 months on a full-time basis or part-time (minimum 20 hours per week).*

You must have the valid working rights in Hong Kong over the course of the internship period.

You are required to work in the office. An Allowance is provided for this role. 

Key Responsibilities

The Marketing Intern will be a crucial support across our content, social media, and brand initiatives, including:

• Content Creation: Draft engaging, creative copy for social media (primarily X/Twitter) and write evergreen articles that are highly relevant to crypto trading and the broader industry.
• Social & Trend Monitoring: Actively monitor social media platforms to identify emerging industry trends, breaking market news, and relevant discussions within the crypto space.
• Performance Reporting: Compile, organise, and present comprehensive metric reports for social media, press releases, advertising campaigns, and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) initiatives.
• Content Strategy: Collaborate with the PR & Brand Manager to maintain a rigorous content calendar, ensuring all content aligns with upcoming campaigns, product launches, and core branding pillars.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise effectively with the Design Team to prepare and procure necessary visual assets for marketing and campaign launches.
• Web Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and updating the BitMEX website based on requests from internal stakeholder teams.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-moving environment and possess the following qualities:

• Self-Starter & Digital Savvy: A highly creative, self-starter mentality. Must be digitally savvy with a proven ability to quickly identify and capitalise on social media trends.
• Organised & Detail-Oriented: Demonstrates extremely high attention to detail in all tasks, from reporting to content drafting, and possesses excellent organisational skills.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior Crypto Knowledge (A Big Plus): Previous knowledge of, or active interaction with, crypto trading, particularly crypto derivatives trading, is a significant advantage.
• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, or a related field.
