Role Summary: The Content Marketing Associate owns end-to-end marketing content packages for Solution Marketing and affiliates—from intake/brief through drafting, adaptation, QC, Veeva Vault approval workflow, medical-legal review, compliance record and release—covering customer presentations, sell sheets, sales playbooks, funnel campaign content, brand/retail content and solution/enterprise marketing assets, while working autonomously within scope, interpreting strategy/brand/templates, ensuring quality/compliance, managing requester expectations, diagnosing recurring issues, escalating scope changes, advising on content feasibility/effort/impact, contributing to projects/squads, and coaching less-experienced colleagues on templates, review processes, and quality standards.
The Opportunity:
- Own assigned content marketing requests end to end, from intake/brief through drafting, adaptation, approval, and release, with minimal supervision; accountable for requirements, content quality, compliance, delivery dates, requester expectations, scope changes, delivery planning, prioritization across product lines/markets/initiatives, capacity estimation, and accurate records of work, requests, and content status.
- Create, write, adapt, and maintain customer-facing and campaign content across assigned product lines and audiences, including customer presentations, sell sheets, sales playbooks, portfolio material, awareness/consideration/conversion/post-sale content, and—where applicable—consumer-facing brand, retail, and direct-to-consumer assets for owned/paid channels, ensuring consistency, usability, and alignment to global templates.
- Own the core product marketing content package by keeping standard assets current, accurate, compliant, and available for affiliate execution; deciding when assets require refresh/rework/retirement; interpreting marketing strategy, brand standards, claims frameworks, and global templates; and determining content structure, format, channel fit, and asset mix.
- Manage the full content review and compliance workflow: approve content against brand, medical-legal, and quality standards; run peer reviews; prepare and route submissions in Veeva Vault; manage PCAP with regulatory, medical, and legal reviewers; resolve comments; secure sign-off on time; and maintain version control, expiry tracking, audit trails, and compliance/approval records.
- Partner cross-functionally with Content Marketing Managers, International Product Managers, Business Project Managers, Lifecycle Teams, Integrated/Enterprise Marketing Managers, product experts, and reviewers to source/validate technical content, translate it into commercially usable materials, coordinate handoffs, keep delivery visible, and provide content recommendations for solution and enterprise marketing initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement and capability building by diagnosing recurring content/review issues (rejections, template failures, claims disputes, translation/adaptation defects), fixing root causes within scope, updating SOPs/guidance/templates/work instructions/job aids/knowledge base, contributing to projects or squads that extend content services, advising Solution Marketing on feasibility/effort/impact, and coaching/onboarding less experienced colleagues on standards, templates, review processes, and tools.
Who you are:
- University degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field (or equivalent practical experience), excellent written and verbal English, and 5+ years of hands-on experience in content marketing, campaign content production, marketing collateral development, or editorial work in a multi-market/shared-service environment, ideally in in vitro diagnostics, medical devices, digital health, or another regulated industry.
- Proven ability to create production-quality marketing content and collateral (presentations, sell sheets, playbooks, campaign assets, and channel content) and translate technical product substance into accurate, usable commercial or consumer content, with in-depth content marketing expertise in B2B/professional audience content and/or consumer brand/retail content.
- Strong autonomy and ownership: able to run assigned content services with minimal supervision, prioritize and sequence work across multiple product lines, markets, and concurrent initiatives, take requests from brief to approved release, hold accountability for what ships, size workload, estimate future capacity, manage requester expectations, and escalate scope changes appropriately.
- Working knowledge of content approval, medical-legal review, governance, and compliance controls for regulated marketing content, with hands-on experience using content management/approval platforms such as Veeva Vault, service management/workflow/ticketing tools, and the ability to diagnose recurring content/review issues, identify root causes, and determine whether resolution requires in-role action or brand/medical-legal/scope decisions.
- Strong collaboration, communication, persuasion, creative/strategic/critical thinking, and influencing skills across functions without direct authority, with global experience adapting and deploying campaigns across markets/regions, working effectively in centralized hub-based teams, contributing to or leading squads/service-improvement initiatives, translating content experience into process/template improvements, and coaching/reviewing work of less experienced colleagues.
