We are looking for a Content Ingestion Analyst to join our team in Chennai. This is an amazing opportunity to work on content acquisition, transformation, and ingestion for Clarivate's Intellectual Property (IP) products. We have a great skill set in data analysis and would love to speak with you if you have experience in data acquisition, knowledge on Trademark, Patent search and a strong enthusiasm for Intellectual Property.
About You
- Must have 3 to 5 years of experience on Trademark and/or Patent search database and good understanding in acquiring data from USPTO, EPO and other PTOs Trademark/Patent Data.
- Experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to solve problems and analyse data effectively.
- Interest in stakeholder management, fostering effective communication practices.
- Exposure to fundamentals of XML for data manipulation would be a plus.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS-Office products is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of Power BI would be a plus.
- Previous exposure or interest in Trademark/Patents data management is advantageous.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Facilitate the Ingestion of Trademark/Patents data to the downstream teams from external sources through various methods, ensuring data readiness for input into product databases.
- Validate and amend Intellectual Property Data, tracking and eliminating errors through automation to enhance data accuracy using internal tools.
- Show your skills in creating and using data quality frameworks for Trademark/Patent information. This involves hands-on work with data conversion and quality checks.
- Escalate data concerns to the relevant teams, ensuring prompt correction of quality issues and preventing any missing data for downstream products.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to achieve anticipated outcomes through a collaborative and co-operative approach.
- Ensure systematic tracking of data and provide well-organized reports to management in an accurate manner.
About the Team:
The Ingest and Sourcing Operations team, comprising over 40+ members located in Chennai, specializes in content acquisition, transformation, and ingestion for Clarivate products like DWPI, CompuMark and more. This diverse team consists of content experts who assess new source content opportunities, create acquisition and transformation requirements, and provide value-added information for downstream curation experts.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM IST (including an hour's break)
