  • Research and write editorial proposals for sponsorship sales packs and pitches.

  • Work with the project management team to support the effective delivery of programmed events and event collateral.

  • Create original copy for email campaigns, newspaper advertisements, marketing brochures and other promotional materials.

  • Collaborate with the social media team to produce and manage additional content before, during and after events.

  • Support speaker liaison and on-the-day content delivery, including social media activity and content related to live streaming.

  • Produce post-event materials, including speaker thank-you emails, event summaries and related content.

  • Work with FT editorial colleagues to make effective use of FT.com video and other FT digital output across FT Live events.

  • Conduct due diligence and contribute to the development of new ideas for global, multi-sponsored events.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Strong research, writing and editing skills, with excellent written and spoken English.

  • The ability to develop clear, engaging content for different audiences and channels.

  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing deliverables in a timely manner.

  • Confidence building positive working relationships with speakers, journalists, commercial partners and colleagues across multiple teams.

  • An interest in the issues affecting global business and a strong curiosity about current affairs.

  • The ability to work effectively within a large, dynamic and fast-paced international business.

  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the confidence to address challenges and take ownership of solutions.

  • Adaptability and an interest in the digital innovations shaping the media and events industries.

  • A commitment to acting with honesty, integrity and professionalism.

  • An active interest in learning, feedback and continued professional development.

Desirable
  • Experience working in B2B or B2C events, conference production, editorial content or a related environment.
