Position Overview
The Content Editor assigns, edits, and guides a staff of in-house and freelance writers in producing high-quality, authoritative content that addresses an audience of HR professionals. You will provide close reading and content editing on articles that provide the best answers to readers’ questions across a spectrum of HR topics. Reporting to the Managing Editor, you work closely with writers and topic leaders to own the quality and publishing pace of the site.

Working Hours: 9:00 pm to 6:00 am PHT (APR-OCT) or 10:00 pm to 7:00 am PHT (NOV-MAR)
What you'll do
- Receive, review, and edit story drafts to ensure they meet editorial standards and other requirements as assigned
- Assist with managing writer assignments as needed, including setting deadlines, approving outlines, coordinating revisions, and other critical functions
- Track progress on assignments to ensure they are completed on time, in line with site and company priorities
- Act as final reviewer/approver of stories before handing them off for final publication
- Assist Content Operations and WordPress Upload Teams with any technological resources needed to publish quality content on schedule
- Keep our project management platform up to date on story status and progress toward site goals
- Coach writers and freelancers in a collaborative environment
Who you are
- 5-7 years of experience in content editing, preferably in the software or SaaS sectors
- Writing, editing, and content management experience with an online publishing outlet are required
- Collaborative and enjoy working with multiple team members
- Basic understanding of SEO and a working knowledge of editing stories in the WordPress CMS GUI
- Self-motivated and able to manage your time to meet deadlines
- Open to feedback and strive to learn something new every day
- Passionate about delivering the best answers to people’s questions
- Must have a working laptop/PC and internet and backup connection
- Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward

Salary Range
TechnologyAdvice seeks to hire top-tier individuals across the world and intends for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision.
Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.
Monthly Pay Range
₱78,000—₱100,000 PHP
