Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Content Director to lead our content strategy and development initiatives for programming to support practice staff at the point of care. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of creating compelling content that drives brand engagement and achieves business goals. The Content Director will oversee digital content creation for physicians, MAs/NPs and admins in the practice setting, manage a team of content professionals, and collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with our overall marketing strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and Implement Content Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our brand vision and business objectives.
- Lead Content Creation: Oversee the development of editorial calendar and high-quality content assets for PatientPoint programs place-based in offices to be seen by busy office staff. Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging.
- Team Management: Lead a team of content editors. Provide guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Collaboration and Alignment: Work closely with marketing, product, and design teams to ensure content supports broader company initiatives and maintains consistency across all touchpoints. In particular, be a versatile player who can think through key idea and benefits of campaigns from both the needs of the patient and physician audience.
- Content Optimization: Monitor and analyze content performance using outcome metrics or research initiatives. Utilize insights to refine strategies and improve content effectiveness.
- Budget Management: Manage content budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Industry Trends and Innovation: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content marketing. Drive innovation and incorporate new ideas into content strategies.
What We Need:
- Proven Experience: 8+ years of experience in content creation, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or director role. Experience in managing large-scale content projects and teams is essential.
- Healthcare Experience: Strong track record of developing content to support healthcare communication initiatives, especially practitioners. Expertise in key aspects of how health systems and practices manage the business of medicine is a must.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to develop and implement strategic content plans that align with business objectives.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and persuasive content.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing content performance metrics and using data to drive decision-making and strategy adjustments.
- Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring, and motivating a team. Ability to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Creativity and Innovation: A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and innovative content solutions.
Desired Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
- Industry Experience: Experience in digital signage content development is advantageous.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), taxonomies, and digital marketing tools.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing diverse content formats and successful projects.

Base Salary Band: $87,800 - $138,000
