Content & Digital Marketing Specialist

AquaPhoenix Scientific, located in Hanover, PA has an opening for a detail-oriented and experienced Content & Digital Marketing Specialist to support a wide range of marketing projects and initiatives. This is a full-time, salaried position eligible for full company benefits. The Content & Digital Marketing Specialist develops and executes content and digital marketing initiatives that support brand awareness, customer engagement, lead generation, and product growth. This role creates and manages content across social media, email, websites, blogs, sales collateral, and product launches while leveraging digital marketing tools and performance data to measure results, identify opportunities and continuously improve marketing efforts.

Although not all inclusive, the ideal candidate in this role will also have general experience in the following areas of responsibility that include: 

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, DSLR photography, and video editing to produce visually engaging content for print, web and digital platforms. 
• Assist in generating content used in communication channels, product explanations, and services. 
• Support the team with marketing initiatives including social media content, marketing collateral and coordinating marketing events.
• Provide writing, editing, and proofreading for proper grammar, accuracy and clarity of various marketing materials.
• Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics and report findings to improve further opportunities. 
• Attention to detail and quality assurance to ensure brand compliance, error-free content and effective vendor relationships. 
• Assisting with the preparation of presentations and trade show planning.
• Exercise strong prioritization and organizational skills to manage multiple, concurrent projects from concept to completion.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

AquaPhoenix Scientific considers applicants with diverse backgrounds, education, and work experience. Candidates for the Content & Digital Marketing Specialist position should have a combination of education and/or relevant work experience that demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully perform the role. A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business or a related field, along with 2-4 years of relevant experience in content creation, digital marketing, communications, or a related area, is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may also be consider

Desired Skills, Education, and Knowledge: 

• Working knowledge of SEMrush, SEO, keyword research, email marketing, campaign tracking, and digital marketing metrics.
• Experience with WordPress or another content management system preferred.
• Experience with Asana or a similar project management platform preferred.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and marketing automation platforms.
• General proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, HubSpot Marketing CRM or similar platforms, DSLR photography, and video editing. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to collaborate with internal and external customers. 
• Meticulous attention to detail with an ability to ensure brand compliance, error-free content and effective vendor relationships. 
• Strong time management and organizational skills with an ability to see projects through to completion.
