- Establish Félix Pago's content design practice, defining voice, tone, and terminology standards that work across English and Spanish, and scale as we expand into new markets.
- Lead end-to-end content projects: define messaging strategies, write and iterate on conversational flows, develop UI copy, and craft microcopy that guides users through complex financial tasks with confidence.
- Own our conversational UX language, shaping how Félix communicates through WhatsApp, from transactional confirmations to proactive support messages to moments of delight.
- Build and maintain content systems, including style guides, glossaries, and pattern libraries that ensure consistency across products and empower designers and engineers to write effectively.
- Partner with UX Research and Product Analytics to ground content decisions in user understanding, testing message effectiveness and iterating based on real behavior.
- Mentor and enable others to write well, coaching designers, PMs, and engineers on content best practices and building shared ownership of our voice.
- Manage content localization for various regions across LATAM both hands-on and with support of contractors to manage nuanced language variants
- Help shape the Design & Content culture at Félix Pago, contributing to hiring, rituals, and process improvements as we scale.
- Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written), with native or near-native command of both. Portuguese fluency is a strong bonus.
- Working proficiency in Figma, with the ability to navigate design files, annotate content directly in mockups, and collaborate with designers within their workflows.
- Experience with Content Design Tools such as Crowdin, Frontitude, Ditto, or similar
- A background in content design, UX writing, or a related field, with 6+ years of experience crafting content for digital products, ideally in fintech, messaging platforms, or direct-to-consumer apps.
- Deep experience with conversational interfaces, chatbots, or messaging-based products, understanding the unique constraints and opportunities of designing in chat.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., LLMs, AI-assisted writing and translation tools) to accelerate content workflows, generate and evaluate copy variants, or support localization at scale. You see AI as a force multiplier for content quality and speed, not a replacement for craft.
- Familiarity with prompt design and conversational AI patterns, with an understanding of how LLM-powered experiences shape user expectations around tone, clarity, and trust.
- Proven ability to develop and scale content systems, from voice and tone guidelines to terminology management across multiple languages.
- Strong collaboration instincts, with experience partnering closely with designers, researchers, PMs, and engineers to ship user-centered experiences.
- Excellent storytelling skills, able to advocate for content decisions and influence product direction through clear, persuasive communication.
- A passion for building financial trust and inclusion through thoughtful, human-centered language.
