The Role
We’re looking for a curious, tech-savvy writer based in Hong Kong, who’s fluent in Cantonese and English, to help us create the best possible experience for our customers through clear, thoughtful content.
As a content design intern at SEEK, you’ll support the team to create helpful, consistent and easy-to-understand content across product touchpoints. You’ll help write, review and improve content so it meets user needs and reflects SEEK’s voice and style. This hybrid internship role is designed to support our APAC business goals, aligning with the company’s strategic objectives to enhance accessibility, inclusion and engagement in our diverse markets.
The role will work closely with other designers across our business. You’ll also work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, business analysts and marketing specialists.

The Design Team at SEEK is made up of 70+ professionals including Product Design, Visual Design, Research, Design Systems, Content Design and Operations. We are distributed primarily across Australia, Malaysia and Hong Kong. Job Description- Support the creation and improvement of product copy, marketing content and other materials for the Hong Kong market
- Help write and review content so it is clear, consistent, user-centred and aligned to SEEK’s voice and style
- Assist with localisation and content adaptation work across English and Cantonese content
- Support translation and content operations work, including glossary updates and content QA
- Work with your manager to set and align on priorities, timelines and learning goals
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers and marketers to create cohesive content across touchpoints and channels
- Help review research materials such as surveys, scripts and participant communications
- Contribute to content audits, competitor reviews and other content design tasks
- Learn and apply product design and human-centred design principles in day-to-day work
- Continuously improve your craft through feedback, mentoring and hands-on practice
- Native fluency in Cantonese and fluency in English
- Strong interest in writing, content design, UX writing, localisation or communications
- Familiarity with digital products, apps or websites is helpful
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in AI and translation tools will be an advantage
