Role Purpose

We are looking for a Research Publication Specialist to join the team to lead publication of our suite of research across Wood Mackenzie’s Power & Renewables team.

The successful candidate will ensure the team’s research gets published in a timely manner, client notifications are sharp and provocative, and product landing pages and the client portal are generally well organized and optimized.

Key responsibilities of the role include collaborating with research analysts and SMEs to schedule publications in a strategic manner. Moreover, product landing pages will need to be refreshed and re-imagined in cooperation with the global SMEs. The successful candidate will also need to work with internal support teams to troubleshoot and solve technical issues with the publishing system.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain P&R product product landing web pages.
  • Upload P&R research to the client portal and send out client notifications.
  • Provide a level of copy-editing prior to uploading research to the client portal.
  • Build out the internal P&R Research Hub with new material and tools.
  • Deal with any technical issues that come up with the P&R portal.
  • Interface with Publisher’s Interactive in the P&R portal link.
  • Archive all published research.
  • Help the Support Team with making sure clients receive P&R cemails/notifications.

About You

  • Experience working with a Client Services team to support clients.
  • Comfortable with email coding/html with a proven track record.
  • Command of the English language; copy editing experience is not required but a nice to have.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills particularly regarding publishing software or related technical activities.
  • Interest in renewable energy and the broad transformation of the electricity sector.
  • Self-driven and able to work independently; successful in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and an eye towards collaboration.
  • An engaging nature, capable of connecting with co-workers from across different office locations and professional backgrounds.
  • Experience in each of the following is preferred, but not required: Pardot, SalesForce, Excel, Sharepoint/OneDrive, and Umbraco.
