At Ancestry, we help people discover, preserve, and share their family stories. We're looking for a Content Data Production Specialist to join our team and play a key role in organizing and managing data that powers our content production. In this role, you'll work closely with teams worldwide, ensuring data and metadata are structured and ready to drive our mission forward.

What You’ll Do:

• Gather and convert metadata into standard formats for use across teams.

• Create and manage data files for internal and external partners.

• Transform various file types into ingestible formats to support workflows.

• Organize and structure content databases for seamless access and usability.

• Innovate and implement new ways to improve the production workflow.

• Balance multiple projects and meet deadlines for various collections.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with data files, SQL templates, and database tables.

• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by your manager.

Who You Are:

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

• Quick to learn new technical tasks and adapt to changing needs.

• Skilled at managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

• Comfortable making critical decisions and solving problems independently.

• Experienced in history or genealogy research (a plus!).

• Proficient with database tools like SQL, Access, Excel, or Power BI.

We are pleased to share the hourly rate for this position: $20.64 - $25.79 with eligibility for bonus, equity and benefits. The actual pay rates will vary by geographic region and job experience.
