Role: Content Creator/Producer

Location: Chicago, IL

About the role: 

Inside Ideas is hiring a Content Creator/Producer to work with one of our largest on-site teams dedicated to multinational alcohol and beverage brands. You’ll be a doer as much as a thinker, working on culturally relevant brands. Understanding of what’s going on in the worlds of entertainment, sports, gaming, and social media and how to act on and capture those trends. This role will join a team of account people, designers, writers and producers to create top of the line social activations. We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Content Creator with expertise in video and image production, including shooting, editing, and retouching. The ideal candidate will be very organized, have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of social media trends, and the ability to create engaging content that resonates with our target audience. They’ll be able to action projects from conceptualizing ideas through execution to post production managing all elements of production and creation along the way. This is a hybrid role requiring all team members to be in the office three days a week (Mon, Tues, Thurs). 

What you will be doing: 

  • Develop and execute creative content strategies for social media platforms, including organic and paid support content. 
  • Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos and images that align with our brand's voice and aesthetic.  
  • Manage production elements for shoots as needed including scheduling, location and props sourcing, casting, talent coordination, and contracting. 
  • Communicate closely with the account and creative teams providing updates on production schedules and shoot details throughout the process. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and create content that supports marketing campaigns and initiatives.  
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our content remains fresh and relevant.  
  • Manage and organize digital assets, ensuring all content is stored and archived appropriately.  
  • Analyze content performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.  

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing video and image content. 
  • 3-5 years experience (ideally agency background) of working on social media content capture and/or production 
  • Knowledge of the logistics involved in photo and digital/video production   
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.  
  • Strong photography and videography skills, with experience in lighting, composition, and storytelling. 
  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.  
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts.  
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.  
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.  
  • Must be over 21+ years old  
  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $85,000.00 to $95,000.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
