We’re looking for a passionate and imaginative Photo/Video Content Creator to join the Creative Marketing team at Brilliant Earth

As Content Creator, you’ll play a key role in bringing our brand to life across digital platforms. Based in our Brooklyn studio and reporting directly to the Art Director, you’ll concept, capture, and edit original photo and video content for social, email, and web. From crafting still-life moments to producing engaging behind-the-scenes reels, you’ll help shape the look and feel of our visual storytelling.
This is a hands-on role for someone who’s highly creative, organized, and excited to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll own the full content creation process — from pre-production planning to post-production polish — and bring a strong understanding of visual trends, social platforms, and luxury aesthetics.
The targeted salary budget for this position is $65k - 80k annually. This compensation budget range may be adjusted at any time at the discretion of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the in-house content creation process for both video and photography, from concept to post-production, across digital and social platforms
- Develop and execute compelling visual narratives for product and lifestyle content that reflect luxury positioning and brand voice
- Collaborate closely with Social, Creative, and Marketing teams to align on campaign goals, asset needs, and channel-specific strategies
- Proactively ideate and produce quick-turn, nimble content with minimal oversight
- Manage shoot logistics end-to-end, including prop sourcing, scheduling, product prep, and studio coordination
- Regularly shoot out of our Brooklyn studio, ensuring efficient use of equipment and maintaining a well-organized production space
- Support post-production tasks, including color correction, light editing, retouching, and formatting for multiple platforms
- Stay attuned to evolving social media trends and bring creative, brand-relevant experimentation to content execution
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in content creation, with a background in photography, videography, design, or social media
- Proven expertise in product andstyling, still-life photography, and on-figure shoots. Jewelry experience highly preferred.
- Experience in videography and video editing/animation, with a strong understanding of visual storytelling
- Proficiency in editing and retouching tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, After Effects, etc.)
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and platforms to support ideation, asset creation, or post-production efficiency
- Deep knowledge of content performance and best practices across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
- Strong design sensibility and attention to detail, with fluency in luxury aesthetics
- Excellent time and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Highly independent and self-motivated, with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
